Unity Associations of Unity Leaders
Purpose
Unity leadership* representation in a country. To gather Unity leaders and unite efforts and talents that will result in support and service to each other and in the unfoldment and growth of the Unity movement in the country.
Scope
Assist Unity leaders in their contribution to a better quality of life through Unity teachings and philosophy
Description
Associations pursue union among Unity leaders in the country. Creates and directs its own bylaws, mission/vision/credo, procedures, policies, educational programs and membership meetings. It is financially and organizationally autonomous, though in compliance with Asociation standards and policies. The board of trustees is elected by its membership at the annual business meeting. It is affiliated with the Association of Unity Churches International in Lee's Summit, Missouri, USA.
* Unity leadership may be credentialed or noncredentialed
Credentialed: Ministry Teams appointed by the Chairperson of the Association of Unity Churches in USA assume responsibility and readiness of candidates for licensing and/or ordination.
Noncredentialed: Individuals recognized by the local Association of Unity Leaders as Coordinator of a Unity group/center/church.
