What are specialized ministry programs?

 

Campus Ministry

Campus ministries are started by a Unity professional or an established Unity church on a college campus to nurture and support the spiritual life of the student. Here is more information on forming a group or finding an existing group.

 

 

Young Adult Ministry

Young adult ministry serves those 18-35. The spiritual life of the young adult needs nurturing and encouragement to retain them in the church body. On the national level, Next Generation of Unity serves young adults.

 

 

Alternative Ministry

Alternative ministries are started by individual ministers to facilitate their own work. Examples are workshop ministries, consulting ministries or writing ministries. To have an alternative ministry, you must be a Unity minister in good standing. A proposal must be submitted and approved by the Association's Board of Trustees and the approval process can take several months to complete. To inquire about starting an alternative ministry and receive guidelines, e-mail expansion@unity.org. Existing alternative ministries are in found in the back of the paper yearbook. They are listed online in the directory record for the minister.

 

 

Adult Ministry

Adults of Unity provides fellowship and spiritual growth experiences for adults of all ages. 

 

 

Small Groups

Within the traditional church, small groups create bonds among members. We have a number of resources for small groups, including small group study booklets.

 

 

Youth Programs

Why is it important for your ministry to privide a youth program? Youth are the life blood of any church; they are the future leaders. Need help starting a program, recruiting volunteers and reaching out to youth? We have many resources to help you.
