Wage: $10.17/hour
JOB DUTIES/QUALIFICATIONS
JOB PROFILE: (Brief summary of responsibilities and requirements)
Pray in a consistently affirmative and compassionate manner in both Spanish and English with those who call the Telephone Prayer Ministry
JOB PREREQUISTES:
Familiar with Unity Teachings
Currently attending a Unity Church and/or completion of 2 SEE classes
Excellent verbal communication skills and demonstrated listener
Proficient user of a computer and database experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE: (Functions essential to job)
1. Speak fluentently in both Spanish and English Language (reading, writing and speaking) and respond appropriate to the cller.
2. Listen with discernment to each caller’s prayer request and respond appropriately with warmth and compassion, following the TPM format and managing each call with professionalism and prayer-centered consciousness.
3. Enter information provided by the caller into data base so a letter of encouragement and prayer support can be sent. Solid computer user skills are required.
4. Utilize a computer database to accurately and efficiently communicate to other departments pertinent information such as name, address, prayer request, requests for merchandise or information or questions received over the prayer line.
5. Demonstrate strong prayer consciousness, understanding of Unity teachings about prayer, and belief in the power of affirmative prayer.
6. Successful completion of the paid prayer ministry training class.
ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
(Functions specific to an individual position)
1. Pray in the Prayer Vigil Chapel as assigned
2. Check work email throughout the day as required
3. Process Internet Prayer Requests (IPR’s) as required
Note: Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of the position at anytime.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Sit at workstation and remain available to callers 80% of the scheduled shift.
Fluent Bilingual (Spanish, English)
Successful completion of TPM initial training within the established training schedule.
