This web site ("Site") is jointly operated by both the Unity School of Christianity and the Association of Unity Churches International ("Unity").

By using this Site, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these terms of use, please do not use the Site. THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE GOVERNED AND INTERPRETED BY THE INTERNAL LAWS OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI WITHOUT REGARD TO THE CONFLICTS OF LAW PROVISIONS THEREOF.

We reserve the right to change our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use at any time. Non-material changes and clarifications will take effect immediately, and material changes will take effect within 30 days of their posting on this site. If we make changes, we will post them and will indicate at the top of this page the policy's new effective date. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here. We encourage you to refer to this policy on an ongoing basis so that you understand our current privacy policy. Unless stated otherwise, our current privacy policy applies to all information that we have about you and your account.

Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded, in the event that we need to contact your ISP. This will only happen in the event of a major violation of this agreement.

Also note that the software places a cookie, a text file containing bits of information (such as your username and password), in your browser's cache. This is ONLY used to keep you logged in/out and to record session information, such as items that you add to your shopping cart. The software does not collect or send any other form of information to your computer.

We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages visitors access, information volunteered by the visitor, such as survey information and/or site registrations. The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web page and update our database at your request. We do not share our e-mail list with anyone.

We offer visitors the ability to have inaccuracies corrected in their contact information by logging into the site with your username and password, then visiting the Preferences Page. You can update your information there.

If you supply us with your postal address on-line you may receive periodic mailings from us with information on new products and services or upcoming events. If you do not wish to receive such mailings, please let us know via e-mail at the address at info@unity.org. Please provide us with your exact name and address. We will code your record to receive no such communications.

Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers on-line may receive telephone contact from us with information regarding on-line transactions. You may also receive telephone contact from us with information regarding new products and services or upcoming events. If you do not wish to receive such telephone calls, please let us know by sending us an e-mail at at info@unity.org. Please provide us with your name and phone number. We will code your record to receive no such communications.

When we transfer and receive certain types of sensitive information such as financial, we redirect visitors to a secure server. We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site. The secure server is listed in your browser window as https://. The “s” after “http” means you're on a secure server.

From time to time, we may use your information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our Web site periodically.

You may prevent your information from being used for purposes other than those for which it was originally collected by e-mailing us at info@unity.org. If you do not want to receive e-mail from us in the future, please let us know via e-mail.

Users of the Site may post comments, photographs, reviews, and other content and submit suggestions, ideas, or other information, provided, the content does not contain any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, purposefully inaccurate, vulgar, obscene, or hateful content or content which is deemed objectionable, or which infringes upon the rights of any third party. The user agrees to not impersonate any person or communicate under a false name or a name the user is not entitled or authorized to use. Unity has the right (but not the obligation) to remove, prohibit, edit or discontinue any content on the Site, including content that has been posted by users. Your uploaded content (comments, poems, photos, links to videos) indicates that you have given permission for us to use your content as promotion and/or featured content on the Site. You will be contacted for permission for any other use, such as books, booklets, eBooks or other uses.

Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also forbidden on this Site.

All trademarks, service marks, and trade names (collectively, the "Marks") are proprietary to Unity or other respective owners, which have granted Unity the right and license to use such Marks. Any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools is strictly prohibited. In no event shall the user frame any portion of the Site or any content contained therein.

Note that it is impossible for the staff or the owners of this Site to confirm the validity of posts. Please remember that we are not responsible for the content contained within. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information presented. The posted messages express the views of the author only, and not necessarily the collective views of the bloggers, the administrators, moderators, nor of Unity.

Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify the administrator through the “Report this Post” button immediately. We reserve the right to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary.

You remain solely responsible for the content of your posted messages. Furthermore, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Unity. We also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or any other related information collected on this service) in the event of a formal complaint or legal action arising from any situation caused by your use of this Site.

With this user account you are about to register, you agree to never give your password out to another person except an administrator, for your protection and for validity reasons. You also agree to NEVER use another person's account for any reason. We also HIGHLY recommend you use a complex and unique password for your account, to prevent account theft.

After you register and login to this Site, you will be able to fill out a detailed profile. It is your responsibility to present clean and accurate information. Any information the Unity staff determines to be inaccurate or vulgar in nature will be removed, with or without prior notice. Appropriate sanctions may be applicable.

You shall not transmit to Unity or upload to this Site any Harmful Code or use or misappropriate the data on this Site for your own commercial gain. "Harmful Code" shall mean any software (sometimes referred to as "viruses," "worms," "trojan horses," "time bombs," "time locks," "drop dead devices," "traps," "access codes," "cancelbots" or "trap door devices") that: (a) is intentionally designed to damage, disrupt, disable, harm, impair, interfere with, intercept, expropriate or otherwise impede in any manner, any data, storage media, program, system, equipment or communication, based on any event, including for example but not limited to (i) exceeding a number of copies, (ii) exceeding a number of users, (iii) passage of a period of time, (iv) advancement to a particular date or other numeral, or (v) use of a certain feature; or (b) would enable an unauthorized person to cause such result; or (c) would enable an unauthorized person to access another person's information without such other person's knowledge and permission.
