PRAISE REPORT!!!
I just want to say thank you for your prayers and to report the good news that I have received...
Earlier in the month, I prayed for good reports from my doctor and God did it! I went to a new doctor, who I feel was annointed by God in order to deal with my circumstances and she was sent right on time because I was hesitant about searching for a new doctor. Things are really starting to work out for the good with my condition, so hopefully my husband and I will have a little baby to call our own soon.
God bless

Thank You
Last summer my mom was admitted into the hospital for abdominal pain. When the team of surgeons arrived in her room we knew the situation was serious. We were told they needed to perform emergency surgery for a perforated bowel (also known as Peritonitis) and were informed the surgery was risky but imperative. Since many people live with Diverticulosis all their lives, (the condition my mom had before entering the hospital that can lead to Peritonitis) my family was unaware that it could be so dangerous. Actually, we didnt suspect that was the cause of hospitalization since my mom hadnt had prior issues. After surgery my mom had a pattern of irregular heart rhythms and needed to be admitted to the Intensive Care Unit where she then suffered from Adult Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) and was placed on a ventilator.
Only two days earlier my mom and I were visiting her small home town on the NC coast overlooking the water and sharing stories. Now my family sat in a circle in a hospital waiting room praying that she would survive. I remembered my mom telling me about Silent Unity and how often the people there had prayed with her. She often quoted the scripture from Matthew 18:19 to me, "Again, I tell you that if two or you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven." During the months that followed I called Silent Unity many times and each time they prayed with me offering the comforting peace of hope through prayer.
As I read through the scriptures I was also reminded of how often miracles happen when we believe in Gods love and grace in our lives. Although my mom remained on a ventilator in the hospitals ICU unit for four months she was able to transition off it in October. As she began to breathe fully on her own, regain movement and voice again, her recovery process became an inspiration to everyone around and I believe was a powerful reminder that miracles still happen today. My mom was able to leave the hospital December 9th just before Christmas where she continues to improve each day. I am so thankful she is home now, and I just wanted to write to share this joy and thank Silent Unity for all their prayers!
