June 2009 Guided Meditation

Silent Unity Prayer Service

Coming together in sacred prayer is a celebration. In the silence of our innermost beings, we celebrate our connection with God and express gratitude for life itself—the breath we take, the beating of our hearts, the activity of our creative minds.

We suspend all worries and focus on our true spiritual essence, our highest selves. Releasing all concerns, we relax into the infinite and unconditional love of God. With spirits free and light, we commune with God in these glorious moments of prayer …

Trusting God in all ways, we have peace of mind and heart.

In the intimacy of prayer, we let go of any negativity or fear and center ourselves in divine love and compassion. At this very moment, we surren-der to God and place all trust in God. We pause and soak up the radiant bliss that transcends all.

Trusting God absolutely and at all times, we have unshakable peace of mind and heart. With God, we know all things are possible. Aware of this truth, we give thanks and pray …

Inspired and divinely directed, we are guided to our good.

We now focus our minds on God. We are open and receptive to divine wisdom working in and through us.

In this time of communion with God, we become ever more attuned to divine direction, and we are guided in all that we say and do. We are constantly moving toward the fulfillment of our good. Reflecting on this comforting truth, we pray …

With a growing awareness of Spirit within, we claim health and well-being.

The spirit of God within is the source of all life, the source of all healing. We are created in the likeness of God, whole and perfect in every way.

In this precious moment of prayer, we consecrate our oneness with Spirit, aware that divine life radiates through us and constantly renews us.

We affirm life and wholeness, knowing that healing is already accomplished. Refreshed by this knowledge, we pray …

We follow the path of our divine purpose and live prosperous lives.

In constant prayer and thanksgiving, we journey toward our true purpose and live the prosperous and full lives we are meant to live. We use our creative energy and divine ideas to open new avenues of prosperity.

We are cocreators with God, alive to the inspiration of Spirit. We attune ourselves to the work of Spirit and to our divine purpose. With a re-newed sense of peace and prosperity, we enter the silence of prayer …

United in the love of God, we live in peace.

“God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them.”

We abide in divine love. In this awareness of love, we affirm peace in the world. We envision love in the hearts of all people and allow our personal sense of peace to radiate to all. We choose to live in peace with ourselves, our families, our communities, our nation, and our world.

We commit ourselves to living and working with one another in harmony, understanding, and respect as we pray in this moment of silence …

We bring our attention back to this time and place, ready to return to the day's activities. We take with us a renewed awareness of the love of God within and around us. In this spirit of love, let us pray our “Prayer for Protection”:

The light of God surrounds us;
The love of God enfolds us;
The power of God protects us;
The presence of God watches
       over us.
Wherever we are, God is!
