Explore the Powers: Faith | Strength | Wisdom | Love | Power | Imagination | Understanding

Would you like to feel more fulfilled, centered and in charge of your life? Throughout 2010, Unity is offering a wide variety of educational resources to help you learn about 12 spiritual abilities you already possess.

Charles Fillmore, Unity's co-founder, called them the "Twelve Powers." These spiritual abilities were perfectly expressed by Jesus and are present in every person. We invite you on a yearlong spiritual journey to discover how to put these Powers to work and create the life of your dreams.

Using the Powers Month by Month
At first glance, the Powers may seem complex, but they are really practical spiritual gifts that each person uses every day. In this Resource Center we'll post a variety of materials to not only help you learn about the Twelve Powers but also to help you apply them in your life.

One new Power will be featured each month. Resources will include readings, meditations, songs, affirmations, podcasts and a variety of other materials—all relating to the Power of the month.

12 Powers in Savannah

Hi! We are also working with the 12 Powers this year at Unity of Savannah (www.unitysavannah.org). At least one service each month our topic is the 'power of the month' and it has been a 'power'-full experience for our congregation! We also have an alternative service the first Friday of each month, called AWE (Authentic Worship Experience, www.asacredplace.net/awe.shtml), and we use a Power as the focus of that service as well. It is affirming and exciting to know that we are in sync with other Unity centers as we explore the concept of the 12 Powers together. A request

Here at Unity of Ocala - we're focusing each month on one of the twelve powers and have really appreciated having access to this wonderful resource center. It has made such a difference in our ability to be a part of this year-long program. Our church coordinator using this material to design our monthly bulletin, using the photo and quotes, linking our monthly program to the website. Challenge was last month, the posting for Power did show up in time for do that before the 1st Sunday in the month. Would it be possible for post them two weeks in advance? So that here at the local level we could prepare newsletters, bulletins and other monthly material with the same style and branding that you are using? It's such a wonderful resource...but not when it comes out "late". If you wanted to control access then perhaps you could put it in a "restricted" area with log-in required. Very Interesting

I really enjoyed the class. Over the years I've integrated the the Twelve Powers into my everyday affairs, like when I felt the need for wisdom to solve a problem or zeal for inspiration to complete a project. I have often wondered about the colors and would like to learn more in this area. Is it possible to post "The Twelve Lights" document? I did a Google search and nothing comes up. Thank You Beatrice

This*twelve*powers*smacks*amazingly*of*the*zodiac*,the*vedic*teachings,*colour*therapy*and*God*knows*what*else***(Smile)*I'm*interested*in*the*bold*inclusion*of*Judas*as*connected*to*generative*powers*in*a*12th/termination/winter*part*of*the*cycle.**Do*half*the*people*reading*this*appreciate*the*high*particular*synthesis*created*here?

I was a wonderful start this evening for the 12 Powers Webinar! The questions were really great and on point. For this week think how you might be using the Power of Faith or the Power Imagination. Remember, you are always using them... it is up to you whether you use the consciously or not. It IS another beautiful day in your Consciousness.

Faith is believing, even when you don't "see". Faith is trust in our God, Who cares and knows and will keep His promises to you, in His time and in His way
